An Emporia business owner faces trial for rape in Jackson County.
Justin Lee Hensley has a pretrial conference Sept. 12, with jury trial set to take place Oct. 15-17.
Hensley, the owner of Gene’s Quik Lube, was charged with single counts of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated battery after an alleged incident in Jackson County shortly before Christmas 2023. A kidnapping count was dropped earlier in the court process.
Additional details have not been released by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
