What started as an aggravated robbery and conspiracy criminal case in Lyon County over a year ago has ended with a probation sentence on a lesser crime.
Antonio Brown had been charged with attempted robbery and conspiracy in June 2023 after a man was allegedly robbed of a cell phone and keys at knifepoint. Following his plea last month to attempted aggravated assault, Brown was sentenced to one year probation. Due to credit for time served, it has been calculated that Brown’s sentence has already been served.
Three other defendants, Calvin Cruse, Mikkel McCray and Elssy Cervantes have already been sentenced in the case. All three received 24 months probation after no-contest pleas to aggravated battery and/or conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.
