This time, there are no more tickets left.
Newman Regional Health has no more room to add people for its Denim and Diamonds signature event Aug. 2. Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton says there has been “overwhelming” interest, both before an initial sellout announcement earlier this month and after a handful of seats were made available.
Over 400 people are set to be on hand for the event at the Emporia State Memorial Union Webb Hall, with activities including food, live music from Thompson Square, a live and silent auction and the drawing for the $5,000 diamond, sapphire and gold bracelet from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal. As part of Friday’s Morning Show interview, Middleton announced Molly Maklovich as the first Golden Ticket recipient with a chance to win the bracelet. The other two ticket recipients will be determined Aug. 2.
All proceeds benefit hospital purchases, including infant hearing equipment, a Mako Arm for robot-assisted joint replacement surgery and a radiology fluoroscopy room. Fundraising is already at record territory with almost $170,000 either generated or pledged.
