Jury trial is ahead in a Lyon County aggravated burglary case after a motions hearing in proceedings against Angelica Hinostroza was canceled.
Instead of holding a hearing, Judge Lee Fowler authorized an additional prosecution witness for trial — which could begin as soon as Aug. 19, depending on a status hearing Aug. 14. Trial could also begin Aug. 26 or Sept. 9.
Hinostroza faces six total counts, including single counts of aggravated residential burglary, assault, criminal threat and aggravated domestic battery, along with two counts of battery. Charges follow an alleged incident in late February.
