Osage County deputies arrested a Pomona man on suspicion of drug distribution Thursday morning.
Sheriff Chris Wells says a K-9 unit found a person known to have an Osage County arrest warrant in the 20000 block of South Stanley Road near Pomona Lake shortly after 11:30 am. The subject, 58-year-old Delwin Watkins, was also found with illegal narcotics in his possession, according to Wells.
Watkins was arrested on suspicion of distributing an unlisted amount of methamphetamine as well as the warrant. Formal charges are pending.
