Coffey County deputies are still asking for the public’s help after a reported abduction attempt late last week.
The Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened shortly before 2 pm Friday near Waverly’s city park. A person of interest is listed as a white male between 50-60 years old, about 6 feet tall and clean-shaven. This person was allegedly driving a late-model silver Lexus with unspecified Minnesota tags.
Coffey County Emergency Dispatch says the suspect remains at large. The case also go no tips from the public over the weekend.
