Following two weeks of fair activities, the Lyon County Fairgrounds is set to host another big annual event this weekend, Flint Hills Beef Fest.
Beef Fest activities began last Saturday with the annual golf tournament at the Emporia Golf Course with the main slate of events beginning Friday. The schedule includes the livestocker show at the Emporia Sale Barn and the beef producers seminar at the Bowyer Community Building. Friday’s evening activities will include the ranch feed and Rodeo tickets for which are available for $20.
Saturday will be a busy day once again with a jampacked schedule as shared by Beef Fest spokesman Danny Broyles on KVOE’s Morning Show Tuesday.
The evening’s entertainment will be provided by mind reader and America’s Got Talent season 7 finalist Eric Dittelman. Tickets for the banquet, steak feed and entertainment are $50. For more information on Beef Fest visit beeffestdotcom.wordpress.com.
