The Emporia Pavillions has yet another storefront open to the public as of Friday morning.
Five Below had its grand opening Friday and store manager Cassie Wright says unlocking the doors to the public was a rewarding moment for her and her staff.
Five Below offers items such as clothing, backpacks, seasonal-themed products, snack items and more all valued between $1-$5 with some “incredible finds that go beyond $5” but are still well below other retailers’ prices. Wright says this model makes Emporia the perfect location for a store.
Five Below is the first phase three store to open at the Pavillions with Old Navy possibly opening up in mid-October according to Pavillions Director Spencer Thomson. Phase three will also include the relocation of Maurices from Flint Hills Mall.
Ross Dress for Less, Shoe Dept Encore and Marshalls opened in late 2022 or early last year as part of phase two of the development after Hobby Lobby, the first store at the Pavilions, opened in 2017.
Thomson says he is nearing completion on leases for at least two more nationally known tenants. Thomson also continues to work towards bringing several restaurants to the Pavillions.
