A first court appearance is coming Monday for an Emporia woman accused of distributing methamphetamine, endangering a child and other charges.
Anissa Gardner-Lagg, age 21, was arrested Thursday by Emporia Police. She was charged Friday with single counts of distributing a small amount of meth and possessing marijuana, meth and paraphernalia. She also has one count of aggravated child endangerment for allegedly causing a child under the age of 18 to be in an environment where she either knew or should have known illegal drug activity was underway.
Emporia Police have not issued a news release on the Gardner-Lagg case, saying it is part of an ongoing investigation.
Gardner-Lagg’s first court appearance is at 1:15 pm Monday.
