A new fundraiser is benefiting Beacon for Hope Suicide Prevention.
The fundraiser, Chest Bumps for Charity, reflects a three-year tradition where Emporia State football sideline reporter Tagan Trahoon chest bumps offensive lineman Carlos Guzman after every Hornet touchdown. The idea for benefiting Beacon follows recent discussions between Trahoon, Beacon founder Melissa Owen and ESU Distinguished Alum and Country Music Hall of Famer Mike Law.
Residents and businesses have several ways to participate:
*Set dollar amounts per touchdown, either for a game of choice or for the entire season.
*One-time donations
