A Lyon County criminal case that originally started with a lead count of aggravated residential burglary will end with sentencing on lesser counts.
Karissa Nash accepted a plea agreement to single counts of criminal trespass and battery after a hearing Wednesday. Nash had originally been charged with aggravated burglary and criminal damage in addition to battery.
Sentencing is Nov. 6.
Separately, a pretrial hearing is coming next month in a Lyon County contraband case.
Brianna Rodecap will return to Lyon County District Court on Oct. 22 after a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
Rodecap faces five counts for alleged illegal activity Aug. 27, including one count of trafficking contraband after allegedly bringing methamphetamine to a correctional institution or care and treatment facility. She’s also charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia, driving while suspended and not having proof of vehicle insurance.
