The Emporia State soccer team scored three-straight goals to beat Northern State 3-1 in Bismarck, N. D. on Friday afternoon. NSU tallied first before the Lady Hornets answered with less than 20 minutes to go in the first half on a goal by Megan Jeremias assisted by Sade Lee. Less than five minutes into the second period, Megyn Mahloch gave the Lady Hornets the lead on an assist by Abby Bachman. Bachman wasn’t done tallying with less than three minutes to go on a dime from Megan Kephart. Each team had nine shots but Mackenzi Goen nabbed six saves for ESU (2-1). E-State returns to action Sunday in a true road game at the University of Mary.
