Burlingame held a 44-16 halftime lead before weather postponed the second half until Monday evening. In the first half, JD Tyson was 16/17 through the air for 195 yards and three scores. Tyson also added two scores on the ground.
The extended halftime through the weekend was not enough to cool off Tyson, and the Bearcats. Tyson would rush for another score while also adding passing touchdowns to Dane Winters and Drake Skirvin Tyson finished with 349 yards of total offense and eight total touchdowns. Winters added 14 receptions for 169 yards and three scores. Madison was led by Colton Isch with 129 yards rushing and two scores. Burlingame takes their 3-0 record against Centre-Lost Springs, while Madison(1-2) looks to regroup against Yates Center.
In the resumption game between Lebo and Waverly, Lebo defeated Waverly, 50-22. Lebo is 3-0 and will host Hartford in the Week 4 Area Game of the Week.
