Sacred Heart School celebrates 51 years of its Mexican Supper on Friday.
The event raises funds for different projects and education needs, according to student Max Danler.
The church is planning to sell 3,000 tacos, meaning a lot of food is being processed this week — as mentioned on KVOE’s airwaves recently by student Leah Sheely.
Food will be available from 4:30-7 pm at the Parish Hall, with dine-in, carryout and drive-thru options available. The menu includes two tacos, as well as rice, chips, salsa and a dessert. Cost is $12 in advance and $14 at the door. Residents can call 620-343-7394 for information and tickets.
