As Newman Regional Health gets ready for its Medicare Town Hall opportunities Monday, there is more information about the federal insurance plan coming soon as well.
Newman Regional Health has town hall opportunities at 10 am and 4 pm Monday, both at the Emporia Senior Center. NRH spokesman Lucas Markowitz says this is timely information.
The town halls are free to attend. Pre-registration is encouraged and can be completed at Newmanrh.org/Medicare or by calling 620-343-6800 extension 22614.
Meanwhile, Nesting Incorporated will have a Medicare Part D information event Nov. 7, also at the Senior Center. This event is designed to let residents know about possible changes affecting their prescription coverages, even though their medications may well be unchanged. The event is from 9 am to 4 pm. Appointments are requested by calling 620-487-5300.
