One of the signs of the changing seasons is coming this weekend.
Emporia’s splash pad at Peter Pan Park will close Sunday. Temperatures will be in the 80 from Wednesday through the closing weekend.
Strong City’s splash pad, meanwhile, closed in September after opening in May.
