The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals will have back-to-back meetings Tuesday.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet first, considering an appeal of a decision from Planning and Zoning Administrator Justin Givens to allow a fence in the front yard at 812 East Sixth.
The Planning Commission will then have separate public hearings on a minor plat, or layout, for the five-lot XRS Pros Addition at 1002 East South and an accessory dwelling unit at 928 Neosho. Recommendation votes for the Emporia City Commission will likely follow both hearings.
The meeting slate begins at 6 pm Tuesday at the Municipal Court Room.
