The Lyon County Highway Department has road work coming Wednesday just south of Emporia.
Road G will see construction between Road 160, or Lockerman Road, and Road 170, or Old Old Highway 50. Work will be concentrated north of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks. The road will be open, but there will be extra congestion during the project.
