Court proceedings in a Lyon County aggravated burglary case will resume next year.
Angel Lemus was originally set for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, but the hearing is now set to take place Jan. 15. Lemus’ defense attorney, Kevin Zolotor, requested the delay after his recent appointment to the case. He also says he hadn’t received any discovery when he filed a motion to continue last week.
Lemus is charged with aggravated residential burglary, battery and criminal damage after an alleged incident Sept. 13.
Meanwhile, a preliminary hearing has been rescheduled in a Lyon County drug distribution case.
Darrell Walker was set for a hearing Wednesday, but that was moved to Dec. 4.
Walker faces two counts of distributing methamphetamine and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia after alleged illegal activity in late September.
