Trial now appears likely just bfeore Thanksgiving in a Lyon County aggravated robbery case.
Judge Lee Fowler removed a potential trial start date of Nov. 4 as part of a hearing Wednesday in the case against Tyler Seifert, meaning trial will start Nov. 25, barring any late delays. A status hearing is coming Nov. 20.
Seifert currently faces nine total counts, including single counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated residential burglary, criminal discharge of a weapon and criminal threat after an incident in April where one person was shot and Seifert allegedly barricaded himself and several others in a house in the 700 block of State. He is also charged with four counts of aggravated assault. A kidnapping count was dropped earlier this year.
