Four members of the Emporia High cross country teams completed their season at the Class 5A State Cross Country Championships at Rim Rock Farms outside of Lawrence on Saturday. On the boys side, Gideon Lowery finished 39th (17:05.63) and Xaden Delgado finished 48th (17:21.80). On the girls side, Madison Evans finished 36th (20:12.13) and Emma Beatty finished 45th (20:30.71). Lowery will be the only state qualifier from this year’s team that will be graduating.
