In between rainfall events, Lyon County’s road network is slowly drying out and opening up.
There are still a few roads that remain barricaded after heavy rainfall this past weekend into Monday:
*Road 150 from J to Kansas Highway 99; from N to P
*Road K from Road 140 to Road 150
*Road P from Road 140 to Road 150
Area residents got anywhere from 2-6 inches of rain Saturday through Monday after receiving 0.50-3 inches of rain Oct. 30. Another 1-2 inches of rainfall is possible Thursday night through Saturday.
