Under normal circumstances, tea parties don’t mix well with dinosaurs. However, the Emporia Public Library is fusing both for its latest children’s event.
Tea-Rex begins at 4:30 pm Tuesday, and Library Director Pauline Stacchini says it’s a great way to celebrate the month.
Stacchini says there will be games and crafts in addition to the “not real” tea.
Children of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Also coming up this week will be the Page Turners Book Club meeting at 10 am Tuesday, the Chills & Thrills Book Club meeting at 6:30 pm Friday and Crafternoons at 1:30 pm Saturday.
