A status and plea hearing is listed as next in the case of an Americus man charged with exploiting at least one child.
Adam Chestnut currently faces 22 counts of sexual exploitation. Charges were filed in July after Chestnut allegedly had “visual depictions” of at least one child under the age of 18 engaged in sexually explicit conduct, with the alleged activity stretching from December 2023 through this past January.
Chestnut is set for his next hearing Nov. 27 before Judge Jeff Larson.
