The Chase County Old School Development District will be in full fundraising mode next week with two major events coming up soon.
First on the schedule will be the 11th annual Match Day fundraiser on Monday, November 18th. Once Match Day wraps up, district members will shift their attention to a fundraising concert on Friday, November 22 at the Cottonwood Falls Community Center featuring country musician Logan Mize. Coester says the concert developed after Mize used the historic community building to film a recent music video.
The benefit concert will begin at 7:30 pm and the cost for tickets is $25 for persons aged three and above. Donations to the district will also be accepted throughout the concert.
