The Sectional Round of High School Football takes place Friday with two of four area teams being featured on the KVOE Network of Stations.
In 8-Man Division I, Madison will host Clifton-Clyde. Madison is coming off a 14-12 win over Ell-Saline while Clifton-Clyde defeated Oswego 44-20. The Eagles are 8-2 and have won eight consecutive games while Madison is 7-3.
Madison coach Nate Teichgraeber said the Bulldogs need to win the game in all three phases.
Kickoff from DeWitt Family Sports Stadium and McClain Field is set for 6 p.m. with the Mel’s Tire Pregame Show beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Mix 104.9.
In 8-Man Division II, Burlingame travels to Frankfort. Burlingame advanced defeating Hanover, 36-24, while Frankfort defeated Marmaton Valley, 46-0. Burlingame is 10-0 while Frankfort is 8-2.
Burlingame coach Jeff Slater said the Bearcats need to limit giving up big plays.
