The Emporia Recreation Commission Board has a lot on its agenda Monday.
Besides updates on ERC sports and the Kansas State High School Activities Association’s recently-held state volleyball tournament, the board could approve the Rec Center Steering Committee’s final report and an amendment to the committee’s memorandum of understanding.
Board members will also get a hiring committee update after the recently-announced departure of director Tom McEvoy.
Other separate agenda items include an agreement with Wright CPA Group for employee retention tax credits, legal counsel for the Rec Commission, a review of VSR’s proposals for Santa Fe Park and Whittier Park and a vote on a supervisor position for senior programs.
The meeting is at 5:30 pm Monday at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
