Lyon County Commissioners have a trio of public hearings on their upcoming action meeting agenda Thursday.
The hearings will be followed by consideration of the vacation of three portions of road segments:
*Road 45 west of Road J
*Road 45 east of Road H
*Road 380 east of Road H
The consideration of vacation will follow the commission’s study meeting Wednesday where they will view each road segment. Other items for consideration Thursday include the renewal of the county’s ESRI contract, totaling more than $16,500, to be paid for out of various county funds submitted by Lyon County Appraiser Ryan Janzen.
County Engineer Chip Woods will also submit a quote from Van Diest Supply Company for 180 gallons of TRIUMPH RTU herbicide totaling more than $5,700. Commissioners will also consider the final Motorola Solutions lease payment of $832,737.58 for the city/county radio project.
Four executive sessions, two for legal matters and non-elected personnel each, are also planned. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
