The Lyon County League announced its All-League 8-Man Football teams on Thursday.
First team offensive selections as down linemen are unanimous selections Parker Haid of Burlingame and Zach Oswald of Lebo and Madison’s Packer Bolinger and Lebo’s Ashton Lattimer. Madison’s Octavian Dean at tight end. Madison’s Cruz Leiser is a unanimous selection at running back along with Burlingame’s Timmy Roberts. Burlingame’s JD Tyson is a unanimous selection at quarterback. Burlingame’s Dane Winters is a unanimous selection at wide receiver along with his teammate Drake Skirvin. Winters is also a first-team pick as a kick returner. Winters and Tyson were named the Co-Offensive MVPs of the Lyon County League.
First team defensive selections as down linemen are unanimous selections Colton Isch of Madison, Winters and Andrew Konrade of Lebo. Luke Davies of Lebo rounds out the selections. Roberts is a unanimous selection at defensive end and is joined by Dean and Haid. Tyson, Madison’s Drake Loveall and Burlingame’s Brock Moon are unanimous selections at linebacker. Oswald was selected as a nose guard/defensive tackle and joined by Bolinger. Madison’s Cade Hurlburt and Waverly’s Carter Ohl are selections as punters. Burlingame’s Devin Jones was selected as a kicker. Loveall was named the Defensive MVP of the Lyon County League.
