Jury trial is now set to begin next week as an Emporia stabbing case moves towards its conclusion.
During a status hearing Wednesday, Judge Lee Fowler set trial to begin Monday in the case against Raena Grana, charged with single counts of aggravated battery and interference with law enforcement after a reported stabbing at 1101 Congress in early June.
Trial was tentatively set to begin earlier this month but was delayed after a request by prosecutors.
