Time is running out if you want to honor veterans in a special way next month through Wreaths Across America.
The purchase deadline is midnight Monday. Cost is $17.
Lead organizer and spokesman Scott Burenheide suggests going online to wreathsacrossamerica.org or to one of the local sponsor groups for wreaths.
Wreath Day is Dec. 14 at the cemetery, with proceedings to start at 11 am. Wreaths will be collected Jan. 11.
This year’s goal is to sponsor 1,600 wreaths. Just under 500 have been sponsored so far.
