Jury trial settings are tentatively on the Lyon County docket in a breach of privacy case revolving around nude or sexually explicit media.
Adam Madrigal faces two counts of privacy breach after allegedly disseminating said media of an adult — without consent or what the legal complaint calls lawful authority but with intent “to harass, threaten or intimidate.”
The alleged activity took place between late August and early September, according to the complaint posted on the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.
Following pretrial and arraignment Tuesday, Madrigal was set for jury trial to begin as soon as Jan. 6, with other start dates listed as Jan. 27 or Feb. 10. There will be a trial status hearing Jan. 2.
During Tuesday’s hearing, Judge Jeff Larson denied a defense motion to modify bond by removing a no-contact order.
