One of Emporia’s holiday traditions is coming Saturday night.
The Neighborhood Toy Drive, long known as the Delane Drive Toy Drop, will be from 6-9 pm. Organizer Lori Seron, a guest on KVOE’s 7:05 am newscast Thursday, says it’s easy to participate.
Once again, the neighborhood of Delane, Darlene, Diane, Hillcrest and Arrowhead will host the event and will also have festive holiday light displays at most homes. The official dropoff point will be 2308 Delane Drive.
Toy donations go to the Salvation Army, while funds go to SOS.
