Three Emporia State football players have been named to the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-Super Region 3 team. It is the third-straight year that multiple Hornets have been honored on the team. Wide receiver Tyler Kahmann and cornerback Jaaron Joseph were named to the first team while offensive lineman Sherman Deaton was honored on the second team. Kahmann picked up his second consecutive first-team honor after leading the nation in receiving yards per game, receptions per game, and touchdowns this past season. Joseph set a new ESU record with 16 pass breakups this season and led the MIAA in passes defended while finishing second in the country. Deaton finished the year with 56.5 knockdowns. The Hornets wrapped up the year 7-4 with a 5-4 record in MIAA play.
