There was quite the early morning line at the Emporia Public Library Saturday as residents young and old made their way inside to say hello to a very special guest.
The library once hosted its Breakfast With Santa event that welcomed hundreds of families to the space for a photo op and quick word with Jolly O’l Saint Nick and Mrs. Claus. Library Director Pauline Stacchini says they always expect and see a big turnout for this event due to the magic of the holidays and the convenience of the program.
In addition to sharing their Christmas wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus, children could also take part in several activities and games thanks to various community partners on hand.
