Over the next few weeks, Newman Regional Health will move its accounting and patient account staff, along with Hand in Hand Hospice, to a new location on the hospital campus.
All three are currently on the east side of the hospital property. They will all be moving to 1000 Lincoln, the longtime administrative home of CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness. Hospital CEO Cathy Pimple tells KVOE News the space renovation to come should lead to easier flow inside the building for both clients and staff.
These moves were made possible as the CrossWinds lease for the space ended earlier this year — and as CrossWinds raised money for a partial consolidation of locations and services through its Breaking Stigma, Breaking Ground capital campaign, purchasing the Earl Center near CareArc and renaming that the Sauder Family Center while also purchasing the former Chi Omega sorority house near Emporia State University.
