89th Seasonal Celebration brings world to Emporia

As it has been doing for nearly 90 years, USD 253 brought the world to Emporia as part of the Seasonal Celebration.

The two-day celebration ended Thursday with a better-than-hourlong performance from students at Emporia High School and Emporia Middle School. Next year will be the 90th for the event.

Students, faculty and staff are now gearing up for the end of the first semester this upcoming Thursday. Winter break then goes from Dec. 20-Jan. 7.
