Emporia’s healthcare leadership boards are meeting separately this week.
CareArc’s Board of Directors will meet at noon Tuesday at the facility, 420 West 15th. Besides monthly CEO, clinic director, human resources, continuous quality and prescription audit reports, the board will also receive a strategic planning presentation. There is also a joint legislative statement to approve, a range of policy updates including a succession plan for the chief executive officer position currently held by Renee Hively and an executive session for financial matters.
Newman Regional Health’s Board of Trustees will meet at the hospital at 3 pm Wednesday. The agenda for that meeting won’t be released until Tuesday afternoon at the earliest.
