A pair of emergency communications items gained approval from Lyon County Commissioners during their regular action meeting Thursday.
Lyon County Emergency Communications Center Director Roxanne Van Gundy submitted a pair of invoices totaling more than $80,000 and $17,000 respectively for paying the annual NG 911 Call Handling and renewal of emergency medical emergency fire dispatch 2025 protocol. Van Gundy also sought approval for Nate Weaver and Lexi Warkentine to attend the CTO Workshop in Omaha, Nebraska from March 11-12 with spending not to exceed $1,850.
Commissioners also approved this request unanimously.
Lyon County Commissioners will reconvene for their weekly action meeting next Thursday at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
