Details are still pending after a fire in Latimer killed two people in late December.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Office has offered no details about the fire Dec. 22. Office of the Kansas State Fire Marshal Public Information Officer Lance Feyh says the Fire Marshal’s Office sent three special agents to help and their involvement is done.
A celebration of life has been announced for Suzi Crockett, one of the two people who passed away. The ceremony will be from 1-4 pm Sunday at Lull Meadows near Council Grove. A GoFundMe account has also been set up to offset Crockett’s funeral expenses.
