A man sentenced to probation on child sex crimes late last year is now wanted by authorities who want to revoke his probation, according to Lyon County Crime Stoppers.
Jesus Mannuel Trillo-Hurtado was sentenced in November to two years of probation after finalizing a plea agreement to one count of conspiracy to commit commercial sexual exploitation of a child in September. Probation violations mean a prison term of 13 months, based on information posted to the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.
Authorities have not specified why they want to revoke Trillo-Hurtado’s probation status.
Trillo-Hurtado and his wife and co-defendant, Maria Elena Trillo, were both initially charged last year with aggravated human trafficking and commercial exploitation for alleged crimes with a child who was no more than 17 years old when the alleged crimes took place in 2016. Trillo received 32 months in prison after accepting an Alford plea, meaning a defendant maintains his or her innocence but recognizes there is enough evidence for a conviction.
Trillo-Hurtado is 46 years old, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, with brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. He may have a beard.
