The Osage City basketball teams swept the Flint Hills Shootout championships on Saturday at White Auditorium.
In the girls championship game, Osage City raced out to a 19-10 lead after the first quarter and continued building their lead all the way to as high as 30 before winning 64-38. Freshman Kaelyn Boss led all scorers with 26. Osage City has now won back-to-back shootout championships. In the boys contest, it was the Kasen Parsons show as he led all scorers with 29 en route to a 53-36 victory. Osage City has won five games in a row in claiming their first shootout championship since 2021.
