A preliminary hearing is now on the Lyon County docket in a drug distribution case.
William David Walters, age 29, will return to court Feb. 12 after his first official court appearance Monday.
Walters is charged with one count of distributing up to 450 grams of marijuana as part of an alleged incident earlier in the month. Walters is also charged with using a cell phone to assist with the crime, as well as single counts of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
