Flint Hills Technical College is well into the planning for its 23rd annual Benefit Gala, and it has two new preview events on the calendar.
Called Wrangler on the Rocks, the online event March 10-13 is a silent auction involving select spirits. It gives “spirits enthusiasts” a way to possibly build on their personal collections while supporting the college’s goal of high-quality technical education.
The website, WranglerRocks25.givesmart.com, already has 20 different options including bourbon, tequila, vodka, whiskey and wine.
Meanwhile, the Run for the Roses Benefit Gala is set for April 25 at White Auditorium. Auction items and additional information will be available soon at FHTCBenefit2025.givesmart.com. Yes, the event will have a horse-racing theme, so attendees are encouraged to dress the part.
In between Wrangler on the Rocks and the Benefit Gala, area women are encouraged to attend the Hats and Hors d’oeuvres hat decorating party at the college’s Trusler Conference Center on March 27.
