The Emporia Friends of the Zoo will be looking to round up dollars to support zoo operations early next month.
The 32nd annual EFOZ Roundup Auction is scheduled for Friday, March 7 inside of the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building. In addition to the live auction which begins at 6:30 pm, the event will also include a new silent online auction this year.
Zoo Director Brenda Young, a recent guest of KVOE’s Morning Show, says the online portion of the event will begin Friday, February 28 and was added to “broaden” the event’s reach.

All proceeds will go to support zoo programming such as the Last year’s auction, which raised a record-setting $143,940.
