The Emporia High boys swim and dive team finished fifth at the Centennial League meet on Thursday in Topeka.
Logan Woydziak finished third in the 50-yard freestyle (23.24) as well as the 100-yard freestyle (53.33). The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Luke Marshall, Brayden Shaw, Beckett Schultz and Woydziak finished third (3:49.29). Joey Krueger finished third in diving with a personal best of 278.90. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Marshall, Collin Moody, Schultz and Woydziak finished fifth (1:42.72).
Woydziak was named first team All-Centennial League, Marshall was named second team All-League. Taegan Kelley and Krueger were honorable mention.
Emporia High will see if its state consideration times will qualify for next week’s Class 5-1A State Swim and Diving Championships to be held at the Shawnee Mission District Aquatic Center in Lenexa Thursday through Saturday.
