An episodic scam allegedly involving unpaid Kansas Turnpike tolls is back.
The Turnpike Authority says fraudulent texts are going to random phone numbers with no regard to actual highway usage or toll amounts.
The Turnpike Authority says it does not send unsolicited texts about unpaid tolls. If you get a scam message or suspected scam message, go online to ic3.gov, the website for the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
