A single-vehicle wreck in central Morris County sent a truck driver to Marion County Hospital for treatment Tuesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened shortly before 9:30 am on US Highway 56 eastbound about seven miles east of Herington. Troopers say a 74-year-old Robert Dauer of Marquette was driving semi pulling a trailer when the semi went left of center. Dauer couldn’t regain control and the semi tipped onto its side, blocking both lanes of traffic in the process.
Dauer suffered suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
