CareArc has announced the annual winner of the Arlene Eichorn Scholarship.
Adamaris Palomares, an Emporia High and a student currently at Flint Hills Technical College, was announced Monday. She is currently a dental assistant at CareArc and has been recognized for her academic achievements, leadership and “passion for healthcare.” Friends of CareArc representative Carol Moyer says Palomares’ hard work, drive and passion made her a great candidate for the scholarship, as well as her dedication to patient care and work towards excellence in dental hygiene.
The Eichorn scholarship honors Arlene Eichorn, a longtime employee at CareArc’s predecessor, Flint Hills Community Health Center. It offers scholarships for Dental Hygiene and Licensed Practical Nursing students.
