With public memorial services for Jim and Josh Hoy taking place Saturday, Pioneer Bluffs has announced a new heritage fund in their honor.
The Hoy Family Ranching Heritage Fund follows the Hoys’ careers as ranchers and historians, using funds for projects designed to both preserving the Flint Hills ranching history and promoting future ranching initiatives.
Residents can also send contributions to Pioneer Bluffs and the Tallgrass Legacy Alliance.
The memorial service is from 1-4 pm at White Auditorium. The Hoys died unexpectedly Feb. 22-23.
